Ruler

For short, straight, precise measures and cuts, nothing beats a ruler. This Acrylix Ruler is 6 inches long and 1/8-inch thick, and features both metric and imperial measures. Because it's acrylic, it's light, and you can actually see through it to what you're measuring - which you can't do with a metal ruler! The six-inch length keeps it pocketable, so it can travel around the shop in your apron or pants pocket, and always be close to hand.

Square

There are about a thousand tasks in the shop where you need to be able to measure angles, and get a reliable, repeatable right angle, and for those, you need a square. The Acrylix Square is a chunky 1/4-inch thick for precision and stability. Crystal-clear acrylic with high-visibility metric and imperial markings means you see your measurement, not the square! The Clear View Center Finder notch works on stock up to 5 inches. Plus, a good square is essential for getting that saw set up right: this perfect 90° and 45° table saw blade alignment tool lets you set up the most commonly-used table saw cuts, while the blade height adjustment gauge gets you precise cuts, every time!

Precision is the difference between a quality final product and one that's all wonky.
